The POD Bench originates back in the 1970's where a very talented master craftsman invented a table which using hinged axels turned into a seat.
This design was to offer a unique concept to outdoor living not to mention a steady income throughout the inventors working life. Manufactured from home he sold a small quantity as a hobby.
The current owners of the POD Bench were lucky enough to inherit the design and are therefore committed to supply and manufacture the POD Bench in the spirit of it's inventor.
